If you are looking for a church for your wedding day, First Calvary Baptist Church provides several luxuries for wedding ceremonies. The sanctuary provides some of the most beautiful natural light I have seen in Columbia, SC. It also provides enough space for a large wedding party. The church creates an ambiance fit for royalty. The sanctuary is located on 1401 Pine Street. Pine intersects with Washington street.

South Carolina Historical Marker

Another interesting fact about First Calvary Baptist Church is its amazing history. January 2017 marked the 150th anniversary for the church. For this reason, a historical marker was placed in front of the church marking its importance to South Carolina’s past.
