Grand Opening of Palmetto Place

Palmetto Place Event Center is a new facility for meetings and special events. PPEC held the grand opening on location at 6230 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC. You and your 200 guests can enjoy their high-end amenities. You can find the them inside and out. The main reception hall accommodates 200 special guests or colleagues. PPEC also has a second floor balcony, a meeting room upstairs, a wrap around porch and more.

Along with the large white columns in the main hall; the large tiled floor in the intimate meeting space feels like home. This area is perfect for small to medium groups. Here you can enjoy the man made comfort of a/c or mother nature’s cool breeze under the patio area. The intimate setting is perfect for building closer relationships.

My favorite amenity is the additional meeting space upstairs that transforms into a bridal suite. As a wedding photographer it’s important to spend time with the bride as she gets ready. Getting ready to walk down the aisle is every little girls dream. How could you prepare for that without a bridal suite? No worries, Palmetto Place Event Center is there to provide the space. Get those PowerPoint slides ready! Bring your corporate training here to enjoy the media system. The system is equipped with a large projection screen, projector and advanced audio system. The projection screen is hidden when not needed.

Enough talk about meetings and more talk about the other amenities. As a chef you may love the commercial grade kitchen adjacent to the main hall. And if that is not enough or just too much, a small kitchen can be used for smaller projects. For example, a graduation party, 50th birthday celebration, or even a bridal shower.
